About:
I got this recipe from my mother-in-law and I love how easy, cheap and tasty it is. Totally a must-have freezer item because it is super versatile; use it for spaghetti (duh!), lasagna, meat ball sandwiches, stuffed peppers, or even pizza. I made up a huge batch in my crockpot then portioned it into freezer bags so I can freeze it and it’s ready to be used!
Ingredients:
- 15 oz can organic tomato sauce
- 6 oz can organic tomato paste
- 1 6 oz can water
- 1/2 c chopped onion
- 2 T parsley
- 2 tsp. sugar or honey
- 1 tsp. oregano
- Pepper and garlic salt to taste
Directions:
Dump all the ingredients in a crockpot and cook on low for 4 hours. This is a very basic recipe so feel free to add additional veggies, spices or meat according to your taste!
