This flavorful, cheesy sauce is so versatile and tasty, yet totally healthy. All 3 of my kids love it (AND the hubby- say what?!). You’re going to want to have some in your fridge at all times to dump on sautéed or steamed veggies, put on top of meat, or slather on your baked potato.
- 1 1/2 cups raw cashews
- 1/3 cup roasted red peppers (from a jar)
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 1/2 tsp Himalayan salt
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Pinch of turmeric
- Put all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and mix until smooth.
- Gently heat it in a small pan before dumping it on everything in the house.
